Since its start in 2012, Giving Tuesday (which falls on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving each year) has sought to inspire generosity around the world. Each year carries a new theme to encourage giving.
This year’s theme is Radical Generosity. From Giving Tuesday organizers: “The strength of the whole is reflective of each individual’s part. This is how a movement of radical generosity can change the world. One person. One act at a time.”
Generosity is a verb with structure. To propel a movement forward, you need both heart and infrastructure. You need the passion of leaders and a solid foundational framework to shape their work and progress towards common goals.

Across the entire Impact100 movement, we are stronger because Impact100 Global has invested in the work behind the scenes. We’ve been doing it since the start of that first chapter in 2001.
Each year, we develop and introduce additional resources to support and serve the Impact100 community. These resources may not make headlines, but they’re the scaffold that lets chapters launch faster, sustain longer, and grant smarter.
These investments make it easier for a founder to say, “Yes, I’ll bring the model here,” and to know someone will walk alongside her. They mean more leaders can be coached, more volunteers can be stewarded, and more chapters can be launched and lifted to greater heights with fidelity and care.
And here’s the measure of what those systems and that courage have made possible: The Impact100 movement continues to grow. By the end of 2025, Impact100 chapters will have collectively awarded more than $178 million through 80 chapters in four countries. This is a testimony to the power of one; repeated, amplified, and multiplied.
As for Impact100 Global, we will keep lighting the path. We will keep building the systems, so the next founder’s first step is easier than the last. And so that every member and every leader receives the tools and resources to thrive.
We will continue to tell the stories that show what’s possible so more women can imagine bigger futures for themselves and their communities.
